In 2012 Best Friends was given the opportunity to sign up for a pilot project of the Municipality of Amsterdam in which five companies were allowed to relocate within the city area.
After presenting its plans and intentions, the City of Amsterdam granted Best Friends permission to relocate its location in the Centrum district to the Zuidoost district.
In May 2021, construction actually started for Cannacenter Best Friends Amsterdam Zuidoost and from Monday, November 8, this establishment is open daily 07:00 to 22:00.
