Should I give my kid CBD-Oil?

With the legalization-wave going on in the world. The possibilities for researching, examining and testing the amazing Cannabis plant, have taken a flight. Where professional laboratories used to (for obvious reasons) steer clear of cannabis, now they can research and test the plant openly. This development leads to  loads of new test results, methods, point-of-views, knowledge and proof. Without being shortsighted, it can already be said, that the pro’s outweigh the cons. My personal opinion is that medicinal marihuana is here to stay and it’s going to push a huge amount of prescripted artificial drugs of the table. Big Pharma and all their hand-puppets in the governments around the world can not stop this movement, and believe me; They’re trying. But the more benefits of Cannabinoids are being uncovered, the more people are using cannabis based medicines.

Whether they use Canna-Oil, Canna Pills, Vape, Smoke or Eat the product, many times it helps with their condition. The number of conditions that Cannabis can be a medicine for, are numerous. It’s not to say Cannabis will cure the disease, but in many cases it’s proven to (at least) lighten the pains and symptoms. Here are a few examples;

  • Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS)
  • Arnold-Chiari malformation and syringomyelia
  • Cachexia/wasting syndrome
  • Cancer
  • Causalgia
  • Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy
  • Crohn’s disease
  • CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type I)
  • CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type II)
  • Dystonia
  • Fibromyalgia (severe)
  • Fibrous dysplasia
  • Glaucoma
  • Hepatitis C
  • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Hydromyelia
  • Interstitial cystitis
  • Lupus
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Myoclonus
  • Nail-patella syndrome
  • Neurofibromatosis
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Post-concussion syndrome
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Reflex sympathetic dystrophy
  • Residual limb pain
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
  • Seizures
  • Sjogren’s syndrome
  • Spinal cord disease (including but not limited to arachnoiditis, Tarlov cysts, hydromyelia & syringomelia)
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA)
  • Syringomyelia
  • Tarlov cysts
  • Tourette syndrome
  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

The states where Medicinal Marijuana is legalized, insurence companies are seeing a dramatic drop in the claims for prescripted artificial painkillers. It’s no longer possible to deny that cannabis has many and powerful medical purposes. But still…. Would you give it to your kid?

Even for people that believe in the healing purposes of Cannabis it’s still an exciting step from using medicinal cannabis yourself, to giving it to your own kid. For people who are hesitating on this manner, I have an advise. Read as many as you can on the internet on this subject. You don’t have to rely on sites of the actual producers anymore. There are numerous of informative sites and documentaries to be found. In these articles and movies you’ll find suggestions for legitimate Canna-Companies. While surfing the web, you’ll probably find these two main points;

  1. There aren’t many finished long-term scientific research rapports on medicinal marihuana YET. There are many short-term research rapports though.
  2. There aren’t many downsides or dangerous side-effects to be found on medicinal marihuana, like there are on prescripted artificial drugs.

Here’s a list I’ve made collecting reliable information on the net. If the list below contains points that are recognizable for your kid, please do some research. Focus on trying to find the negatives on reliable impartial websites, because there hardly are.

  • Acne
  • ADD & ADHD
  • Addiction
  • Antibiotic Resistence
  • Anxiety
  • Asthma
  • Autism
  • Cancer
  • Colitis & Crohn’s
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy & Seizures
  • Glaucoma
  • Heart Disease
  • Inflammation
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Kidney Disease
  • Liver Disease
  • Metabolic System
  • Migraine
  • Motion Sickness
  • MS
  • Nausea
  • Neuropathic Pain
  • Obesity
  • OCD
  • Bone Health

It can be a big step to even study the use of medicinal marijuana on your kids. For decades we’ve only been told about the alleged negative effects of marijuana. But please try to keep an open mind, it might save your or your kids life or way of living.
