MARKETS IN AMSTERDAM TO VISIT

Local Goods Market

At this market you only find local products! This market is twice a month, on Saturday and Sunday at De Hallen in Amsterdam West. At the Local Goods Market you find everything form chocolate to wine and from furniture to accessories. Are you having such a great time that you don’t feel like going home? Stick around at De Foodhallen for a bite or go to the movies at the Filmhallen.

IJhallen

Here in Amsterdam North we have the biggest flea market of Europe. Do you need new space in your closet or do you want to get rid of your furniture? Book a stand at the IJhallen! Of course it’s also a lot of fun to look for some good bargains.

The Pure Market

The name says it all. At Pure Markt everything is about hand crafted products and pure food. Every Sunday, this market is in either Park Frankendael, Amstelpark or Beatrixpark. Not only can you taste several things, but also you can buy delicious products to create your own healthy meal at home. Yum!

The Sunday Market

Art, fashion and design are for sale on the Sunday Market in Amsterdam! You can find this cool market monthly at the Westergasfabriek. Designers and artists present all different kinds of products. Shop, eat and drink in style at the Sunday Market  :-)

Roest

It doesn’t matter if you feel like shopping, dancing, chilling or enjoying great food and drinks. At Roest you can have it all. The cool warehouse is the place where the Avondmarkt is organised a couple time a year. The place is filled with food stands and stands with hand crafted products. This cool spot in East is definitely worth a visit!

Pekmarkt

To late to sign up for Holland’s got talent? Don’t worry! Every Saturday you can go to the Pekmarkt in Amsterdam North where artists show their talent. And everybody can join. Of course we mostly come here for design, vintage and great food!

Noordermarkt

Every Saturday, in the center of the Jordaan, you can enjoy the Noordermarkt. We love the atmosphere and like to walk by all the cute stands. They sell vintage clothes and tasty snacks. My favourite thing to do here: getting an oyster and of course I’ll have a glass of prosecco with that ;-)

Mercatormarkt

De Baarsjes keeps getting more and more fun. Enthusiastic neighbours sell their products and great food at the Mercatorplein during the Mercatormarkt. Do you want honey from a bee keeper or super nice olive oil from smaller producers out of Spain? This is the place to be!

3 X ‘DAILY’ MARKTETS IN AMSTERDAM

Do you like markets in Amsterdam as much as we do? These are the markets you can visit from Monday till Saturday:

Ten Kate Markt

We love to shop and we love the eat. At the Ten Katemarkt you can enjoy lovely snacks at one of the many foodtrucks. Have a seat on their little terrace or take it with you while walking around. The market has several stores with clothes and food. We recommend the one that sells fresh fish, so delicious!
